Chargeable services
Certain merchandise and services are available for purchase from the Websites (“chargeable services”). If the user wishes to access these, the user will pay the applicable fee in accordance with the rates and procedures specified by us from time to time together with any applicable value added tax or any other sales tax as payable in relation thereto.

Third parties supply some of the goods or services comprised in the chargeable services and none are supplied directly by us. As regards those which are supplied by third parties, we shall have no responsibility to the user in respect of them and give no warranty whatsoever as to satisfactory quality, merchantability, fitness for purpose or compliance with any description concerning them. The terms implied by Section 39 of the Sale of Goods and Supply of Services Act, 1980 Ireland are at this moment excluded from these terms of use and disclaimer.
We shall have no liability to the user whether in contract or in tort for any loss suffered by the user resulting from the use of a credit card, debit card or charge card or any modification thereof to access our service. Also, we shall have no liability to the user whether in contract or in tort for any loss suffered by the user resulting from purchasing chargeable services from a third party via the website.
Shipping Policy
Goods purchased through the online shop will be shipped via Fastway Couriers at a flat rate of €8 for delivery within the island of Ireland. Goods for delivery internationally will be shipped using An Post standard rates (https://www.anpost.com/Post-Parcels/Sending/Postal-Rates/Standard-Post). Every effort will be made on part of Trident Controls Ltd. to ensure goods are dispatched in a timely fashion once an order has been received and payment processed.
Commissioned services such as control boards will be shipped / installed on a case by case basis subject to agreement between all parties.
Refund Policy
Commissioned Work
We offer a warranty of 12 months after commissioning of the panel.
If the customer or a third party (not an agent of Trident Controls Ltd.) opens the panel and amends something in the panel within that 12 month period then this warranty shall become void.
The parts within each commissioned panel are also guaranteed for 12 months after commissioning. This guarantee does not cover the cost of reinstallation of any part.
Other Products
In the event of cancellation of an order or a customer wishes to return a product within 14 days of ordering; if the part is still with us (I.e. not shipped) we will initiate a return of payment to them within 48 hours of receiving the request. If the part has been shipped to the customer, the product must be returned to us via tracked courier and will be subject to inspection to determine the part was not damaged by the customer themselves. Upon inspection that the unit is ok (I.e. resalable) then we will issue the payment immediately (i.e. within say 48 hours).
In line with Stripe’s Terms & Conditions, the event of a refund being necessary the customer sees the refund as a credit approximately 5-10 business days later, depending upon the bank. Trident Controls Ltd. will not be liable for any further costs incurred to the customer or additional charges made by any bank or financial institution or any other third party organisation.
Trident Controls Ltd. will offer a replacement of a faulty part within 12 months of a part being sold. This is subject to an inspection of the part being returned and upon determination that the part wasn’t damaged by the customer and not a fault of the sold parts themselves. This is in line with the Sale of Goods and Supply of Services Act 1989.
Refunds are made only in exceptional circumstances apart from the above providing information about the existence of a legal reason. The request should be in writing or by email and addressed to

Where costs are incurred before the delivery of a service, then these costs may be deducted from the amount of the refund.
